One Yacht. One Destination. One Song.

Pride. Balearics. Mac DeMarco – On the Level.

Widen your horizons while aboard PRIDE, a yacht with opulent details that pair perfectly with the waters of  the Balearics. To pair with such a grand scheme, Mac DeMarco’s new release “On the Level” has a soothing tone that flirts with memories of a beach and palm trees swaying in the distance. This track ends with lyrical determination that is testament to an onboard crew that are there to fill your every need. Just like PRIDE, DeMarco’s latest has just about something for everyone.

Sound Purpose On The Road: Ed Sheeran’s Divide Tour

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

Sound Purpose was invited to the Amazon Lounge at the O2 to see Ed Sheeran on his worldwide Divide tour.

Seeing Ed Sheeran live is about the only way to fully wrap your head around how truly talented this young man is. He is able to completely change the atmosphere of whatever venue he is performing in and does it in a way that the vibe of the audience matches the song.

He somehow can deliver a feeling of a full band by using his voice, his guitar, and his loop pedal. He mixed in some of his old hits along with a taste of his latest album release.

Here is a clip of his hit “Bloodstream” off his previous album X.

Once onboard 30m LA MASCARADE, the most modern Feadship of her kind, you’ll need the perfect track to relax and unwind. Enter Elle et Moi by French composer Max Berlin. This laid back track combined with the chilled out atmosphere onboard are an excellent match for exploring the charming island of Corsica this summer 2017.

Sound Purpose on the Road: THE Weeknd at the O2

By | Uncategorized | No Comments

Last night Sound Purpose had the incredible experience of going to see The Weeknd, who was headlining at London’s O2 Arena – what a concert! It was topped by a big SURPRISE when he brought out fellow Canadian and frequent collaborator, Drake, who performed a medley of “Fake Love”, “Energy”, and “Jumpan”. There was nothing but BIG ENERGY out there on the stage.

After the show, we went backstage and u bed shoulders with The Weeknd and Drake. Unfortunately, it was not the time to bring out a camera. Chatting to the team was awesome – it felt like they had a really old school roc-a-fella feel.

When walking backstage just after the show, the crew had taken down half the set. I was fascinated by the fact that they take the whole set up around the world with, and have a crew of about 80 following it! The sound was HEAVY and the bass was BIG!

Take a look at some of the show here:
